Cabin Quilters Guild
Guild meets the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. It offers a variety
of speakers and small hands-on projects. Each year the guild creates
quilts for community projects. Quilts of Valor is their project this year,
which provides handmade quilts to injured members of the military who
have served overseas.
Carol Clayter is the current club President. Questions can be directed to
the quilt shop.

Exchange Club meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. Half-
Square Triangle and Strip Exchange will use the Triangles on a Roll 2”
Finished Square templates and make projects from “Friendship Strips &
Scraps” and “Friendship & Triangles” books.

Half-Square Exchange Rules
- Use Triangles on a Roll
- 100% cotton, quilt shop fabrics only (Moda, RJR, Maywood, Marcus
Brothers, P&B, Windham). No fabrics from Joann Fabrics, Hancock,
Hobby Lobby or WalMart. - Paper should be sewn on the darkest fabric. Press to the dark fabric.
- Shorten your stitch length.
- Leave the papers on.
- Cotton solids, prints or batiks. No flannels.
- Can be made with light, medium or dark fabrics.
- All colors acceptable, except loud fluorescent colors.
- NO juvenile or novelty prints.
- Only sewn and cut triangles will be accepted. Do not remove papers or
press. Add your name, if you like. - Bring in multiples of 40, 80, 120, 160, 200.
Strip Exchange Rules
- Strip size to be determined by the group.
